Escape Artists
Traditionally, mosaic art is a bunch of pieces coming together to fit within a given space. The candidates juggle for position until they’re settled, flat, and happy. Contrary to flat happiness, when I create Escape Artists, the pieces burst forth, popping out to make a break from the flatness and into “outer space”.
